Phase 1: Discovery & Audit

We start by auditing your current site, listings, and competitors, then map out exactly where you're losing visibility and where the fastest wins are. Nothing gets built until we know what's actually happening today.

What This Phase Includes

  • Full audit of your current website, listings, and citations
  • Competitor analysis for your core services and markets
  • A prioritized list of the fastest, highest-impact fixes
  • A clear roadmap before any work begins

Why We Start Here

Most marketing budget gets wasted because it's spent solving the wrong problem. A business might assume it needs more social posts when the real issue is a NAP mismatch quietly confusing Google, or assume it needs a full site rebuild when three key service pages are simply missing. Guessing is expensive, so we don't start there. The audit covers your current website page by page, checks your existing directory and citation listings against a canonical NAP block, and looks at the handful of competitors actually outranking you for your core services in your market.

That research gets turned into a single prioritized list, ranked by both impact and effort, so the highest-value fixes surface first instead of getting lost in a long to-do list. Nothing in Phase 2 or beyond gets built until this picture is clear; it's the difference between fixing what's actually broken and just adding new work on top of old problems.

Moving Into Phase 2

Once the audit wraps, its findings feed directly into Website Foundation. If your current site's structure is mostly sound, Phase 2 stays narrow and focused on the gaps the audit found. If the audit turns up deeper issues (thin content, missing service pages, technical SEO problems) Phase 2's scope expands to address them before any new content or campaigns get layered on top.
