Our Growth Strategy

A repeatable, five-phase process: not a grab bag of services thrown at your business at once.

Why a Phased Approach Beats a Grab Bag of Services

Most agencies sell services one at a time: a new logo this month, a handful of boosted social posts the next, an SEO package tacked on later because a competitor mentioned it. None of those pieces are wrong on their own, but bought out of order they rarely add up to much. A paid ad campaign aimed at a website that isn't built to convert just burns budget. A blog built before the site structure is fixed gets buried along with everything else. Ember & Echo Multimedia runs a five-phase process instead, where each phase is built on what the last one found or fixed, so the work compounds instead of competing with itself.

The order isn't arbitrary. We audit before we build, because building on top of unknown problems just buries them deeper. We fix the website before we drive traffic to it, because traffic to a broken funnel is wasted spend. We build organic content and SEO before layering on paid campaigns, because paid works best when it's reinforcing a foundation that's already generating some pull on its own. And CRM and automation come last, once there's an actual flow of leads worth systematizing: automating an empty pipeline doesn't solve anything.

The Five Phases

What to Expect Moving Through It

Phases run in sequence, but not on a rigid script. If an audit turns up a website that's already in decent shape, Phase 2 might be short. If NAP and citation issues run deep across a dozen directories, Phase 1 gets more time. Every engagement is scoped around what a business actually needs: services can be taken on individually or bundled together, rather than forced through all five phases if that isn't the right fit. Growth packages run on a 12-month engagement, individual projects can be purchased one time under a written work order paid in advance, and once work is underway, our typical response time on questions or requests is within one business day. The whole process runs fully online, so distance from Kansas City is never a factor.

No. Services can be scoped individually or bundled together based on what your business needs: the five-phase process is the recommended path for a full rebuild, not a requirement for every project.

Some do. Content and SEO work from Phase 3 typically keeps running into Phase 4 as paid campaigns launch, since organic growth is ongoing rather than a one-time task.

Phase 1 still applies. We audit what's already there, decide what's worth keeping, and scope Phase 2 around closing gaps rather than rebuilding from scratch unnecessarily.
