Designed to Live Permanently in a Vehicle
A standard PC or laptop mounted in a truck runs into two problems fast: it wasn't built to run on vehicle power, and it wasn't built to survive being shaken constantly for years. The Truck-Mount Rugged Workstation is built around solving both. Being 12V vehicle power compatible means it runs directly off the vehicle's electrical system without needing a separate AC inverter in the loop: one less point of failure and one less piece of equipment drawing power and generating heat inside the cab.
Vibration-dampened mounting addresses the other half of the problem. Constant road vibration is one of the most common reasons computer hardware fails in vehicle installations: it works loose connectors, fatigues solder joints, and shortens the life of internal components over time. Isolating the chassis from that vibration is what allows this unit to be mounted permanently rather than treated as something that gets removed and stowed when the vehicle is in motion.
Inside, an Intel Core i7, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD give it enough power to run fleet management software, routing and mapping tools, dispatch systems, and diagnostic software, including running multiple displays in a command vehicle setup, without the workstation becoming the bottleneck.
This is built for service trucks, utility vehicles, and mobile command vehicles that need a computer permanently and reliably mounted in the vehicle itself, rather than a laptop that gets mounted, unmounted, and carried in and out every shift.
